The legend returns
EA released the first FIFA 22 ratings updated since mid-December on Tuesday, 11 January.
The ratings update was pretty un-extraordinary in general but one thing did catch our attention!
Barcelona and Brazilian legend Dani Alves has been added to the game once again, following his move back to his beloved Spanish club a few months ago.
The 38-year-old has been handed a 77 OVR card with very average stats including 78 passing, 78 dribbling and 72 defending.
However, rumours on social media have suggested that the veteran is set to receive a massively boosted Flashback card in Ultimate Team.
Flashback Dani Alves
Having returned to his club Barcelona, a Flashback Dani Alves card would be more than appropriate in FIFA 22 and leaks have already been flying about online.
Alves has an incredible 42 trophies to his name, with the majority of his success coming at Barcelona, where he was part of one of the best sides the world has ever seen and went on to lift 23 trophies during his time in Catalonia.
So, we think EA could hand the all-time great a 91 OVR Flashback card in the coming weeks.
Dani Alves was included in countless Team of the Years so we can't pick out a single season for the brilliant Brazilian as EA will have the pick of the bunch!
One thing is for sure though, Alves's Flashback card will have brilliant pace, dribbling, defending and passing stats which will rival some of the best right-backs that are currently in the game.
More Flashback SBCs coming soon?
Plenty of rumours and leaks regarding Flashback SBC cards that could arrive during TOTY have been circulating in recent weeks, but one has come to the forefront in the past couple of days.
According to TrustyFUTTrader, A Flashback Alexandre Pato will be released in Ultimate Team as an SBC very soon.
Pato will reportedly receive an 88 OVR card with great pace, dribbling and shooting stats, plus he may be boosted to five-star skill moves too!
Other rumoured Flashback cards include the likes of Franck Ribery, Kylian Mbappe and Jerome Boateng.
