What If upgrade favourites you MUST purchase

The What If promo has arrived in Ultimate Team.

There are 13 new dynamic cards in total - including SBC's and Objectives players - but if you're stuck with who to pick up, we're here to help.

These three men are all but guaranteed a What If upgrade within the next five games.

N'Golo Kante

BEAST - Kante is the best card in the new promo

Kante has been one of the best defensive midfielders in FIFA for some time now, and this What If card is comfortably his best of FIFA 21.

The Chelsea man begins the promo as a 91 OVR, but should Chelsea score six goals in their next five domestic outings, the Frenchman could become a monster 93-rated CDM.

Chelsea has been on a high since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel last month and, whilst they have tricky fixtures against Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton in the next three games, things get easier from there.

Leeds United - who are known for leaking goals - and relegation-threatened West Bromwich Albion complete the five domestic games, and it's highly unlikely Kante & co don't score six in that period of time.

Raphinha

SBC - Don't let this one go a miss

Speaking of Leeds United, they have a man who you should consider in the form of Brazilian winger, Raphinha.

The 87-rated What If player isn't available in packs but instead through a limited-time SBC.

Only Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Leicester City have scored more than Marcelo Bielsa's men this season, so we'd fancy them to score a few over their next five.

An 89 rating would make Raphinha one of the best PL left midfielders in Ultimate Team, so make sure you don't sleep on this SBC.

Marcelo

STRENGTH - There's no getting past Marcelo

STRENGTH - There's no getting past Marcelo

The final player we fancy for an upgrade is Olympique Lyonnais centre half, Marcelo.

The Brazilian has been a mainstay in the Lyon side that currently sit second in the Ligue 1 standings, just three points adrift of PSG.

Marcelo will receive an upgrade if his side keeps a clean sheet in any of their next five domestic outings and, with the third-best defensive record in the division, who'd back against that?

An upgrade to that 93-rated physicality would turn Marcelo into an absolute beast.
