Release date

Team of the Week 29 will be released on Wednesday, 14 April at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

It is not just the new in-form cards that will be released, but also the upgrades to Ones to Watch and Headliners cards too.

West Ham 3-2 Leicester

The race for Champions League football is well and truly on, with West Ham striking a major blow by beating Brendan Rodgers Leicester at the London Stadium.

David Moyes' side were without key players Declan Rice and Michail Antonio, but they need not worry with in-form Jesse Lingard bang at it once more.

Leicester has their own problems with James Maddison and Ayoze Perez left out of the squad, and they had no answer to the sensational Lingard and tireless Jarrod Bowen.

The Foxes sit just one point ahead of West Ham and will be looking over their shoulders after Sunday's defeat.

In-form Lingard

England manager Gareth Southgate was in attendance as Lingard scored twice and was instrumental in the third as West Ham took a 3-0 lead.

For the first goal, Lingard showed exquisite technique to strike the ball on the half volley to beat a flat-footed Kasper Schmeichel in goal.

His second was much easier as the lively Bowen raced clear and passed to Lingard leaving a simple tap in.

Both Lingard and Bowen could feature in TOTW 29, although there will likely only be room for one of them.

Best of the Rest

Chelsea blew Crystal Palace away with a delightful display of attacking football, with Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic the stars of the show.

Could we see a first in-form card of the season for Havertz and an upgrade to his Ones to Watch card?

Elsewhere, French stars Kylian Mbappe, Wissam Ben Yedder and Allan Saint-Maximin all had two goal involvements in helping their teams to victory.

A mention must also go to Norwich as they smashed Huddersfield 7-0, with Emi Buendia and Teemu Pukki both in terrific form.
