Player Review

Is Herrera worth the dosh? Let's find out.

Between 110-130k is the asking price for the Mexican, who has seen his rating jump from an 81 to an 84 upon release.

It's a very well rounded card too. Each of Herrera's base stats are in the 70's or 80's - with 74-rated pace his worst and 86-rated physicality his best.

4* weak foot and 3* skills are joined by a H/H work rate for the box-to-box midfielder.

In terms of further upgrades, Atletico are in pole position to qualify from their group, albeit in second place behind runaway leaders Bayern Munich.

This means one upgrade is almost assured, but Atletico will come up against the winner of another group in the next round, so it could prove to be a tricky tie for the Madrid outfit.

Worth it?

We'll likely see Herrera jump to an 86 on his new card, which would be a significant upgrade to his current rating.

It's then down to the luck of the draw.

If you're happy to pay 130k for an 86-rated Herrera then go for it. We'll give this one a miss though.
