Money, Money, Money

The world of football as we know is certainly a lucrative one.

Alongside this, revenue for the eSports industry is projected to exceed $1 billion this year so there is plenty of cash around!

A host of footballers are already buying into the eSports world by creating their own eSports teams.

The likes of David Beckham, Antoine Griezmann and Sergio Aguero all have their own teams, but none of them have been as successful as Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil!

M10

While Mesut Ozil is earning a reported £350,000 per week at Arsenal (despite not being in their Premier League squad), his eSports team M10 are pulling in the cash too.

Of all the eSports teams invested in by footballers M10 has been the most successful, bringing in over £65,000.

The team are yet to win a tournament outright in 18 attempts, but Ozil will surely be happy with the returns.

Next in line is Thibaut Courtois’ team Dux. They have amassed nearly £45,000, although they have played in five more competitions than M10.
