Team of the Week 11 has been released into FIFA 20 Ultimate Team, and with another set of Weekend League rewards coming out tomorrow on Thursday at 08:00 GMT, it’s time to start considering who you’re going to want to take in your red player picks!
This TOTW looks to be quite impressive for Black Friday this week, with 11 of the 23 man squad being 85 rated or higher. Top players this week include Luka Modric, Heung Min Son and Joshua Kimmich.
These are the top-tier picks from this Team of the Week. If you’re lucky enough to see one of these players, I’d be definitely looking to select them to get them into your squad. In TOTW 11, there are a number of really good options that will be able to bolster your clubs nicely!
Luka Modric - 91 OVR
The highest rated card in TOTW 11, Luka Modric is a great midfielder this year, and this IF upgrade features some nice improvements.
With +2s in most of his shooting stats, Modric can get on the end of some attacking moves to finish chances, however the main area of his game comes in the playmaking ability.
With 93 Agility, 94 Balance and 93 Ball Control, you can expect Luka to feel great on the ball, and with 94 Short Passing and 93 Vision, he’ll be more than capable to play the defence splitting passes.
For chemistry styles, Hunter and Shadow look to be the best options, depending on whether Luka is playing a more attacking or defensive role in your team.
Keylor Navas - 89 OVR
Not really much to discuss here with Keylor Navas, he’s a top tier Ligue 1 keeper. Being 89 rated too, he’ll be super useful for completing the new base icon SBC. The only slight downside with this card are the defensive links, not too many people are running Ligue 1 defences at the moment.
Heung-Min Son - 88 OVR
What will be the most expensive card in this TOTW, now as a LM, Son is one of the best wingers in the Premier League, being up there with Sadio Mane.
With exactly the same stats as the very popular Road to the Final card, bar -2s in all Physical stats and a +1 in all Shooting stats, this card is going to be incredible in game.
4* Skills and 5* Weak Foot are a near perfect combination for attacking players, and being 6’0” tall with 88 Dribbling, he’ll be very difficult to get off the ball. Personally, this is my top card for this week!
Joshua Kimmich - 87 OVR
While not being the most meta RB in FUT 20, as a CDM, Kimmich now becomes very usable! 73 Pace is more than enough as a CDM, and with 85 Agility and 85 Balance, he’ll be more than quick enough to intercept passes in the middle of midfield.
88 Passing with 81 Defending makes him a perfect defensive midfielder, however I’d look at throwing a Shadow or Anchor chemistry style just to increase his pace and defending a little more.
Riyad Mahrez - 87 OVR
While there’s a good amount of competition for RWs this year, Mahrez is certainly starting to become a really good option with this 2nd In-Form item.
With a +2 in all Shooting stats over his first In-Form, Mahrez looks to be a perfect winger to cut inside from the right to get on the end of attacks.
The Dribbling combination of 94 Agility, 92 Ball Control and 92 Dribbling with 5* Skills will make him feel silky smooth on the ball, a must for a top tier RW card.
These are the mid-tier picks from this Team of the Week. They’re not the best players you could get, but they’re certainly not bad selections either.
86 De Vrij - 86 Rated in a good league and nation makes him a useful card for SBCs. Unfortunately, he’s not meta.
86 Bergwijn - Bergwijn is decent, however he’s not in a top meta league, and possesses 2* Weak Foot. 86 rated though for SBCs is good.
86 Canales - 86 Rated in a good league and nation makes him a useful card for SBCs. Unfortunately, he’s not meta.
86 Higuain - 86 Rated in a good league and nation makes him a useful card for SBCs. Unfortunately, he’s not meta.
86 Aspas - 86 Rated in a good league and nation makes him a useful card for SBCs. Unfortunately, he’s not meta.
85 Talisca - 85 Rated and Brazilian makes him useful for SBCs, and he is a good attacking player, however being in the Chinese League hurts his link potential.
84 Promes - While he’s a top card, a lot of people I’m sure have the Ones to Watch item already, making this 84 Promes not the most desirable choice in red player picks.
These are the low-tier picks from this Team of the Week. There’s no pretty way of saying this, consider yourself unlucky if these are the only options you’re receiving.
- 84 Pacheco
- 84 Forsberg
- 82 Tarkowski
- 82 Junior Moraes
- 81 Pablo
- 81 Max
- 80 Nsame
- 80 Cesinha
- 77 Deminguet
