FIFA 20: TOTW 14 Prediction (Ultimate Team of the Week 14) – Ronaldo, De Bruyne & more

An early Christmas present looks to be on the cards for these men after shining over the weekend.

Man City blew Arsenal away with a sensational first 45 minutes at the Emirates Stadium, while Bayern racked up six at home to Werder Bremen.

Liverpool maintained their incredible start to the season thanks to Mohamed Salah, while in Italy Cristiano Ronaldo inspired Juventus to victory over Udinese.

Each week, EA will select a squad of 23 of the best performing players from the past seven days and give them in-form (IF) cards which have increased ratings.

Any player included in the TOTW that also has a One to Watch (OTW) card will also be boosted and their overall (OVR) will stay their latest IF card rating.

These players form the TOTW which is available to challenge for coins on FIFA Ultimate Team. These players are also available in packs and on the transfer market, so look out for them!

PRE ORDER FIFA 21

Luigi Sepe (OVR 75 – SIF 82)

Luigi Sepe kept Napoli at bay for large periods of the game despite Gennaro Gattuso’s side mustering 33 shots on goal. Sepe’s performance kept Parma in the game, laying the platform for Gervinho’s late goal to steal the spoils.

A second IF of the season could see Sepe’s OVR reach 82 this week. His basic card costs 2,100 coins on PS4 and 3,400 on Xbox One, while his 81 OVR IF card costs 10,000 coins on both consoles.

Jan Vertonghen (OVR 87 – IF 88)

The Spurs revival continues under Jose Mourinho courtesy of Jan Vertonghen’s injury time winner away at Wolves. The Belgian’s first goal of the season was a timely one with Spurs now just three points off the Champions League places.

Vertonghen’s 87 rated basic card costs 26,000 coins on PS4 and 25,500 on Xbox One. His brand new TOTY nominee card is available in the region of 37,000 coins on either console. A place in TOTW 14 could see Vertonghen’s OVR rise to 88.

Angelo Ogbonna (OVR 77 – IF 81)

Ex-Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna was a rock at the heart of West Ham’s defence in their win away at Southampton. Having fallen out of favour last season, Ogbonna has been the outstanding player in Manuel Pellegrini’s backline in a difficult season in East London.

Ogbonna costs just 750 coins on PS4 and 3,000 coins on Xbox One. An IF card this week could be rated 81 OVR.

PRE ORDER FIFA 21

Nico Schulz (OVR 82 – IF 84)

Wing back Nico Schulz rounded off the scoring for Dortmund in their 4-0 triumph over Mainz. The German’s first goal of the season came in just his sixth appearance as his season has been interrupted by injury.

Schulz could receive an IF card with 84 OVR should he be selected for TOTW 14. His basic card costs 1,800 on PS4 and 2,300 on Xbox One.

Pizzi (OVR 84 – IF 86)

Benfica winger Pizzi’s phenomenal season continued with a brace in their 4-0 win over Famalicao. The Portuguese midfielder’s stats now read 18 goals and 10 assists in just 24 games this season.

Benfica star Pizzi costs 3,500 coins on PS4 and 4,000 on Xbox One. An IF card this week could be rated 86 overall.

PRE ORDER FIFA 21

Kevin De Bruyne (OVR 91 – SIF 93)

Belgian maestro Kevin De Bruyne dominated Arsenal in a thrilling first half display the Gunners could not recover from. Two goals and an assist from the City superstar ensured the three points for his side.

A massive 93 OVR could be in store for De Bruyne this week. His basic card is worth 195,000 coins on both PS4 and Xbox One, with his first IF card costing in the region of 270,000 coins. His TOTY nominee card is worth a touch less than his CM in-form card, however, his UCL TOTGS card will set you back 500,000 coins on either console.

Philipp Max (OVR 77 – SIF 82)

Philipp Max’s double helped Augsburg stretch their unbeaten streak to five games as they look to distance themselves from the relegation zone. Max played further forward than his usual LB spot, instead starring on the left of midfield in his side’s win.

Max’s double could see him earn an 82 OVR SIF card this week. His previous IF card is worth 11,000 coins on PS4 and 12,000 on Xbox One. His basic 77 OVR LB card is available for 1,600 coins on PS4 and 1,700 coins on Xbox One.

Philippe Coutinho (OVR 86 – SIF 88)

Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho ran riot against Werder Bremen, assisting two goals as well as bagging a hat-trick himself. Five goal involvements will surely be enough to earn a second in form of the season, right?

Former Liverpool attacker Coutinho’s performance could earn himself an IF card with 88 overall this week. His basic 86 OVR card is available for 16,250 coins on PS4 and 17,500 on Xbox One. The Brazilian’s 87 rated IF card costs 300,000 coins on both consoles, while his OTW card costs 240,000 coins.

Steven Berghuis (OVR 80 – IF 83)

Steven Berghuis’ hat-trick sunk PSV over the weekend. The Feyenoord captain fired his side to within three points of their rivals, although league leaders Ajax and AZ Alkmaar will take some catching.

Forgotten ex-Watford winger Berghuis could see an IF card rated 83 this week. His basic card is available for just 850 coins on PS4 and 1,000 on Xbox One.

Cristiano Ronaldo (OVR 93 – SIF 95)

Will he ever stop scoring goals? Cristiano Ronaldo is a goal machine and added another two to his phenomenal career tally against Udinese. Up to nine goals in Serie A, can he help Juventus retain the title amid Inter’s challenge?

Ronaldo could see another IF card, this time rated 95 OVR. Ronaldo’s basic card costs around 1,000,000 coins on the FUT Transfer Market. His first IF card is rated 94 OVR and with the LW position, costing 1,230,000 coins on PS4 and slightly less on Xbox One. His new TOTY Nominee card costs just a shade over 1,500,000 coins on either console.

Mohamed Salah (OVR 90 – IF 91)

Egypt forward Mohamed Salah inspired Liverpool to another win in the Premier League with a clinical double. Not for the first time this season Liverpool weren’t at their best, however they keep proving too strong for all who come before them.

Salah’s basic card costs just under 200,000 coins on both consoles, although you will have to shell out double that to buy his UCL TOTGS card. His latest TOTY nominee card costs 340,000 coins on PS4 and 330,000 on Xbox One. A first IF of the season could be rated 91 OVR.
