FIFA 20 Career Mode: 7 of the biggest changes to this year’s much-loved mode
From meetings in a restaurant to press conferences, EA has gone all out to improve the experience.
It’s been a long time coming, but FIFA Career Mode is finally set for a huge amount of changes.
Here we got through the seven biggest announcements coming your way in FIFA 20.
Location, location, location
Interactive transfer negotitations return (which we’re happy about), but now there are more loactions to conduct business.
You can now meet in a plush rooftop bar or in a restaurant – which makes a change from the stale office we’ve been conducting business in over the past two FIFAs.
Get your look
For the first time, you will be able to create your customisable manager. This includes, body type, skin tone, clothing and hairstyles.

What’s more, for the first time ever, you will also be able to have a female manager.
Every decision you make in FIFA 20 Career Mode will have a consequence – especially when it comes to press conferences.
Just like in real life, you’ll be grilled by the press about your team’s performance. Be too nice and you’ll lose respect, but go in all guns blazing and you’ll trash your team’s morale.
Go forth and conquer, Special One.
Inspire your team with the answers you give in new interactive press conferences before and after key moments in your season.
From rotating your starting 11 to shortlisting transfer targets and managing wage expectations, every choice you make affects your squads morale, form and even their OVR ratings.
So, yeah, choose wisely.
Dynamic Player Potential
This year, you’ll be even more responsible for player’s potential OVR with Dynamic Player Potential.
The better they play on the pitch, the higher their Player Potential will grow.
The authentic branding of the Premier League, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, La Liga, MLS, Champions League and the Europa League will appear through the dynamic UI in Career mode.
I mean, we’ll take it.
