Team 1 of the Road to the Final campaign was released yesterday, and it's littered with stars.
But whilst many will look to the likes of Mo Salah or Marcus Rashford, it's one of the lesser-rated players who stands out for us.
His name is Lukas Klostermann.
RTTF Klostermann Information
Lukas Klostermann is one of the lower-rated players in Team 1, but regardless of rating, he is one of the most expensive.
The Leipzig centre half is trading for around 400k at the time of writing, but why is an 83-rated player so expensive? And is he worth the asking price?
The 24-year-old German has seen a +3 to his overall rating, coming in as an 83 OVR.
Whilst his boosted defending and physicality (85 and 80-rated respectively) is great news for a centre back, it's his pace that has played the biggest part in his eye watering value.
The Leipzig man has 86-rated pace, including a monster 90-rated sprint speed, and that's just the beginning.
Leipzig in Europe
Despite being drawn in one of the toughest groups in this year's Champions League, Leipzig have impressed.
Last seasons semi-finalists sit in second place through the first three games of their campaign, having beaten Istanbul and PSG but falling to a heavy defeat to Manchester United.
With qualification still in their own hands, could we see this Klostermann card upgraded even further before the years out?
As we have mentioned already, this Klostermann card is trading for around 400k at time of writing.
But will his value remain that high? Or is it worth waiting a while for his price to drop?
Leipzig's next UCL game will go a long way to deciding their fate and, ultimately deciding whether or not we see this card improved at all.
They will travel to Paris to face PSG on November 24, with a win in the French capital leaving the German side in very good stead in terms of progressing.
If you don't need Klostermann immediately, we'd suggest waiting until this game is over as a win for PSG, who will be the bookmaker's favourites heading into the match, will likely see his value drop.
The Best CB in Ultimate Team?
He's one of the most expensive centre backs in Ultimate Team, but is he the best?
Aside from ICONs, only inform Kyle Walker, Rulebreakers Aymeric Laporte, Inform Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk are more expensive than the German, with only Kyle Walker possessing better pace stats.
VVD and Laporte trump the German in terms of their ability as natural centre backs, but Klostermann is better than most when it comes to his ability on the ball, both passing and dribbling.
In our opinion, taking stats and value for money into account, Virgil van Dijk is still the best centre back on offer, but with a couple more upgrades, Klostermann will take some beating.
