The FIFA 21 Career Mode transfer market can be an expensive place but signing players for free is a great way to improve your team on a budget.

Find out below which players’ contracts expire in 2025.

As players contracts run out on FIFA 21 Career Mode, they can be signed on a ‘pre-contract’ agreement.

This avoids paying a hefty transfer fee, although you will have to wait until the start of the new season for them to join.

You can only sign players aged 23 and older using this method too, so it is no good for picking up wonderkids.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen (OVR 90 – POT 93)

Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has the highest potential of any goalkeeper on FIFA 21.

A potential of 93 does mean MATS won’t come cheap, but a deal for free would have to come when he is 33 years old.
