EA Sports FC 24 has been officially confirmed, with EA Sports revealing the new branding for the game.

New features will be confirmed as soon as July, but for new it's leaks galore.

Online Career Mode and the arrival of women's football in Ultimate Team are the two main headline likes to appear so far, but nothing has been confirmed yet by EA themselves.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the brand new features that could be arriving in EA Sports FC 24.

LATEST - Female Icons Leaked

As we near the confirmation of new features for EA Sports FC 24, we can expect to also see a number of leaks in the coming weeks.

With new modes and features being revealed by multiple different sources, we want to take a look through the mist and work out the fact from the fiction.

With that in mind, a brand new leak from FIFAUTeam seems to confirm the arrival of Women's Icons in Ultimate Team.

It had been rumoured some time ago that Female players would be added into Ultimate Team in the new game and the arrival of Female Icons certainly looks to reaffirm that report.

The first name leaked to arrive is Chinese female superstar Sun Wen, with it not yet being cleared as to whether she will be an Icon or a Hero.

As mentioned above, this is presently only a leak and nothing has been confirmed yet, but it's certainly looking promising for the arrival of Women's football in EA Sports FC Ultimate Team.

FC 24 Leaks

Prolific leaker @FUTZONEFIFA has taken to Twitter to reveal a host of new information regarding FC 24, with news leaking for pretty much every feature you can imagine.

Here's a breakdown of everything leaked so far by FUTZONE:

As you can see, the main headline features centre around dynamic packs and cross play coming to Pro Clubs.

Cross-play implementation for Pro Clubs has been wanted for some time and the arrival of this feature is set to please a wide range of players.

Something more controversial, however, is the confirmation that dynamic packs are coming to FC 24, with this feature rewarding those who spend money in the game.

Online Career Mode

Right now, the only confirmed new feature leaked for FC 24 is the arrival of online career mode.

The FIFA community has been calling for an online Career Mode for many years, and many thought their wishes had been answered when a job listing surfaced in the lead-up to FIFA 22 for an 'Online Software Engineer' working on 'online career mode'.

However, it seems the community's prayers have finally been answered, with an online Career Mode confirmed for the first-ever EA Sports FC title, according to @UTSources on Twitter.

FC 24 Concepts

As part of the lead-up to the release of FC 24, we wanted to take a look at some of our own ideas that could make this game an instant hit.

Conceptualising new features is always easier from afar, but our 'FC 24 Concepts' series hopes to offer realistic and necessary changes that EA could make to the game.

Of course, all the classics look set to return in FC 24, with some maybe requiring name changes due to the split from FIFA.

Here are the modes we're expecting to see return:

  • Ultimate Team
  • Career Mode
  • Pro Clubs
  • Online Seasons
  • Kick-Off

With little information confirmed so far, we're looking forward to seeing what the future holds for FC 24.

New Name

With the rumoured name change to FC 24, or EA Sports FC, EA may have to make some tweaks to their branding.

Right now, FIFA Ultimate Team - or FUT as it's sometimes known - would have to be rebranded, with EA no longer able to use the FIFA name.

However, if FC 24 is the name that EA go with for this new era, we could still see FUT used as an abbreviation for the mode.

No other modes should be affected, but we wouldn't be surprised if EA make a few tweaks in order to stamp their mark in this new era of football gaming.
