We now officially have EA FC 24 ratings out by EA Sports with the full database giving FC 24 fans loads of time to plan their starter squads and find some budget beasts! But now we look forward to which Icons we will have in EA FC 24!

Latest - New Icons confirmed

EA has confirmed the 'Class of 24 Icons' to fans ahead of the 29 September release date. The newest Icons coming to EA FC 24 are Mia Hamm, Bobby Charlton, Birgit Prinz, Zico, Homare Sawa, Camille Abily, Kelly Smith, and Franck Ribery.

These are the first four female Icons in any EA game, and they look insane!

Icon chemistry updated in FC 24

The chemistry system in EA FC 24 will remain the same as in FIFA 23, however, Icons have been confirmed to have an updated chemistry system to improve squad building.

This has now been confirmed by EA in the FC 24 deep dive that icons will have the following chemistry impact.

• +1 chemistry to every league

EA FC fans have been asking for Icons to have +1 for every league over FIFA 23 and now it has finally happened. This will allow squad building to be more lenient and creative while also adding value to icons that are from lesser-used leagues to now be more important.

As we head closer to EA FC 24, we can predict the price of Icons to be higher than that of FIFA 23 now that we understand Icons will add +1 chemistry to every league.

Icon mid and prime cards removed

In an unexpected twist, the forthcoming EA FC 24 release is set to make a notable change to the Icon lineup by removing the Mid and Prime variations, which have traditionally been a cornerstone of the series. This announcement marks a departure from the usual pattern, indicating a deliberate shift in how these iconic player cards will be handled.

The absence of Mid and Prime Icons paves the way for a novel approach to introducing fresh versions of these legendary players. EA Sports is preparing to launch revamped iterations through a series of promotional events, injecting a sense of excitement into the game by unveiling distinctive and dynamic ICON variants that tie in with specific themes or memorable moments.

There are a few Icons from last year's game being changed to Heroes cards, with the removal of the Mid and Prime versions making them practically unusable for a supposed Icon.

Homare Sawa

The latest Icon Women player has been announced with Japanese legend, Homare Sawa being added to EA FC 24.

With 84 Pace, 87 Shooting, 91 Passing, 91 Dribbling, 83 Defending, 76 Physicality- Sawa will be one of the best Icons in the game! Amazing stats for a centre midfielder!

Zico

One of the latest EA FC 24 cards confirmed is Zico who has incredible stats for an attacking midfielder and rightfully so after representing his country Brazil 71 times scoring 48 goals and assisting 21.

Some longtime FIFA players may remember playing with Zico as part of kick-off's Classic XI squad. We are sure that Classic XI vs. World XI brings back a lot of memories.

Anticipation is high for the inclusion of this iconic player. Known for his exceptional skills, style, and contributions to the sport, this Brazilian icon is sure to bring a touch of magic to the game. Get ready to experience the flair and greatness of Brazilian football as this legendary player takes their place among the Icons in EA FC 24.

Franck Ribery

Franck Ribery makes the quick switch from being featured as a player in FIFA 23 to an Icon in EA FC 24, and rightfully so! The French winger was incredible in his Bayern Munich days, with Arjen Robben on the opposite wing, and some believe he should have a Ballon d'Or to his name.

With 5-star skills, Ribery will be very fun to use and likely be very expensive, despite having a fairly low rating for an Icon card.

Bobby Charlton

Bobby Charlton will be an Icon player in EA FC24. Fans are excited to finally experience one of the most iconic legends in the game, adding Charlton to their Ultimate Team.

Manchester United fans will be thrilled to use one of their greats in EA FC 24. Charlton made 758 appearances and scored 249 goals for the club.

Mia Hamm

As spotted through the front cover of the ultimate edition of EA FC 24, and now officially confirmed by EA, Mia Hamm is the first Women's player to be confirmed as an Icon in the new era of EA FC 24. Where Women now join Men in Ultimate Team.

Camille Abily

Camille Abily will be one of five women's Icons in Ultimate Team this year.

The French attacking midfielder scored 228 goals in 452 games in her club career predominantly with Lyon and is a five-time Champions League winner.

Birgit Prinz

A two-time World Cup winner and three-time FIFA World Player of the Year is bound to become an icon right?

Those are just a few of Birgit Prinz's accolades over her 18-year career.

One of the most decorated players in women's football, Prinz was also a prolific goal scorer, with 282 goals in 282 games during her club career.

Simply incredible!

Kelly Smith

Having dominated the WSL and FA Cup over two decades, Kelly Smith will be the fourth female edition to the EA FC 24 Icons list this year.

One of England's leading goal scorers, Smith spent most of her career at Arsenal, with other spells in the US.
