Bungie is bringing back the Solstice of Heroes Event and it's due to start sooner than you might think! Here's everything we know about this upcoming Destiny 2 event and what you can expect for the next couple of weeks.
What Time Does The Solstice Of Heroes Event Start?
As always, it looks like the Solstice of Heroes Event is going to start at the same time as Destiny 2's Weekly Reset. With this in mind, here's when Update 3.2.1. is due to be released.
- Maintenance Begins
- 09:00 PST / 12:00 EST / 17:00 BST
- Players Removed From Activities, Destiny 2 Brought Offline
- 09:45 PST / 12:45 EST / 17:45 BST
- Update 3.2.1 Added, Players Can Log Back In Once Downloaded
- 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST
- Maintenance Expected To Conclude
- 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 19:00 BST
Although Bungie hasn't specifically said that this is when the Solstice of Heroes Event is due to start... In the past, every other Destiny 2 update has started at the same time as the end of the Server Maintenance. We're pretty confident that this means the Solstice of Heroes event should kick-off officially between 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 BST and 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 19:00 BST.
These times are subject to change if there are any unforeseen delays. However, Bungie is usually pretty on top of any issues.
What To Expect From It?
The Solstice of Heroes Event isn't going to change a whole lot this time around and that means we know exactly what to expect from Destiny 2's next in-game event.
Eva Levante is back to "host" the event with the returning task of killing bosses in the EAZ for Event-Limited, class-specific armour and additional cosmetics. You can kill as many bosses as you want this time around, so there's seemingly no limit to the loot you can earn.
" The sky’s the limit on how many bosses you defeat and how many caches you unlock. Well... the sky and the clock. Make haste, Guardians."
In addition to thses Ghost Cosmetics, there's also a new Legendary Shotgun on the cards. The Compass Rose joins a new Sparrow and Ship cosmetics set to round out the most exciting of the new rewards. Bungie hasn't shared much about any of these things, but we know they're coming.
