Having trouble with the new Stasis Aspect quest in Season of the Chosen? We've got you covered.
It's safe to say that Stasis Powers are a fantastic thing to have, especially if you play in Destiny 2's PvP mode: The Crucible.
They, like many other Stasis abilities in games, stop a person in their tracks and make it much easier to kill them.
The Season of the Chosen, the latest content update from Bungie, has brought about a new Stasis Aspect and a quest to go with it.
Here's everything you need to do to get the new Stasis Aspect quest going.
What You Need To Do
If you're having some issues, it might be because you haven't done all the pre-quest requirements that you'd need to start the new quest.
Firstly, you'll need to have Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Without this, you won't have access to Stasis abilities, to begin with. So, it's well-worth getting just for those!

Secondly, you'll need to complete the campaign missions from Beyond Light. This will also help you get to grips with Stasis powers and how it applies to each of the classes.
Finally, you'll need to get all the previous Stasis Aspects from the Exo Stranger. This might seem like a bit of a grind but it will help prepare you for the new Stasis Aspect quest and they're useful to have regardless.
Once you've done all of these, you're ready to take on the new Stasis Aspect quest! Bungie also reduced the completion for Stasis Fragment pursuits, so it shouldn't take you as long as it would have before.
Aspect of Influence
The newest Stasis Aspect is the Aspect of Influence. It requires you to finish the following objective: Darkness investigated. Vague, right?
This quest will take you to the Well of Infinitude on Europa and require the Salvation's Grip Exotic.
Below, we've listed the new Stasis Aspect's abilities. These were data-mined by Light.gg:
- Titan - Howl of the Storm: Use Charged melee ability while sliding to launch Stasis energy and freeze enemies.
- Hunter - Grim Harvest - Defeating slowed of frozen enemies creates Stasis shards that replenish melee energy.
- Warlock - Bleak Watcher: Holding the grenade button converts your grenade into a Stasis Turret which slows enemies.
