In Destiny 2, Xur will soon return with an all-new set of Legendary and Exotic Items in exchange for Legendary Shards.
This mysterious character appears on weekends from Friday to Tuesday. Unless he is held hostage, of course.
Xur changes location every week, appearing in a public sector of any of the Worlds. With that in mind, here's what we know about where Xur is this week and what items he has on offer!
Who is Xur in Destiny 2?
Xur sells exotic Destiny 2 weapons and armors each weekend. The items that Xur offers are different every week, including Legendary and Rare items that are no longer available in the game.
Xur's location and inventory are revealed every Friday at 12 pm EST / 5 pm GMT. Unfortunately, he only stays in-game from Friday to Tuesday, so make sure not to miss him!
Where is Xur?
Xur spawns in one of three possible locations despite showing in a random location every week.
- Winding Cove in the EDZ
- In a tree in "Watcher's Grave" on Nessus
- In the Hangar in the Tower.
This week (January 7 - January 11), Xur is located in the Winding Cove in the EDZ.

Xur offers one Exotic Weapon and Three Exotic Armor pieces for each character class each week.
