After a brief respite, Lord Saladin is back to Destiny 2 and he brings the second Iron Banner in the Witch Queen era which means that Crucible lovers around the world will have their hands tied for a while.
The one-week-long event offers players an extensive Multiplayer experience with unique quests, bounties, and rewards.

Iron Banner Release Time
Destiny 2 Iron Bammer returns on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, and finishes in a week on April 19, 2022.
The event and everything it brings will be live in-game at 1 pm EST on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, allowing players to participate in the all-out PvP fun. Additionally, it will take over Trials of Osiris, putting it on a brief break.

What is the Iron Banner in Destiny 2?
Iron Banner is a monthly PvP mode found in The Crucible. As always, it arrives at the weekly reset and leaves during the following.
It's similar to Control, in which Guardians fight for zones, and kills are worth more if players hold more than one.
However, even though Iron Banner is similar to Control it has two distinct differences. First of all, if a team takes all three zones the opposing team won't be able to take it back for a certain period of time this is what is known as "The Hunt."
During The Hunt, players will want to accrue as many kills as possible or stay alive if on the other end. Once that's said and done, all zones unlock and normal play can resume.
To add onto this, Iron Banner doesn't necessarily balance out Power Levels. This means that if players go into a match with higher levels they can take advantage of those below them.
Iron Banner Rewards
Ever since its introduction to the game, Iron Banner has always had the same rewards each month. However, each time they're up, they receive a bit of a change.
These are the usual rewards:
- Peacebond - Legendary Sidearm
- Forge’s Pledge - Legendary Pulse Rifle
- Riiswalker - Legendary Shotgun
- Occluded Finality - Legendary Sniper Rifle
- Iron Forerunner - Armor Set
