Destiny 2 has been taken offline ahead of Bungie introducing the latest season – Season of the Chosen – to Xbox, PS4, PS5, PC and Stadia players.
The game will be offline for around 75 minutes in total as the developers begin the long process of updating the game's content in line with the start of Season 13.

When the game's new season does go live today, there will be a slew of changes and a robust set of patch notes detailing all the key tweaks made to the meta.
Bungie has already published some smaller 3.10 patch notes for the game, but we can certainly expect more to be revealed once the game is back online.
We'll keep you updated as we learn more. For now, here's a look at the downtime schedule as detailed by Bungie; which as we say, should be taken solely as a guide and not set in stone.
