Spooky season is almost over, and November approaches!
As we reach the midway point of October, and with the second portion of October’s Games with Gold set to release, let’s take a look at next month’s offering.
Whilst these are only predictions for now, we are sure Microsoft will aim for an end of an era feel for November’s Games with Gold.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood
Available on both Xbox One and Xbox 360, this 2010 hit remains a fan-favourite to this day.
As we prepare for next-gen and the release of AC: Valhalla, we believe an Assassin’s Creed title could well be on the cards for GWG November.
Despite the game’s age, we feel it would be right at home on the pass for next month.
Call of Duty: MW2 Campaign Remastered
With Sony’s Call of Duty exclusivity reigning supreme, PS Plus saw MW2’s Remastered campaign in August.
Now a few months on, we don’t see why this title wouldn’t make it’s way on to the Microsoft Games with Gold.
Featuring a full graphical remaster of the original campaign, MW2 remains in the gaming annals of history as a true game-changer.
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Once again, with a remake of Sands of Time on the horizon in January 2021, this move would make sense to help generate some hype around the new game.
Originally released on the original Xbox, the game received rave reviews including a terrific 92% score on Metacritic.
With GWG following the same pattern before (Destroy all humans a month before the remake was released), we can’t see why they won’t do so again.
Super Street: The Game
Speed 3: Grand Prix, made by the same developer, is launching in Holiday of this year.
GWG isn’t complete without a racing game, so this title seems to fit the bill perfectly.
Starting with scrap and working your way up to a modern street racer, Super Street: The Game could be in November’s Games with Gold.
October’s Games With Gold
As with every month, four titles were free for Xbox Gold users in October.
These were Maid of Sker, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Costume Quest, and Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut.
