Cyberpunk 2077 has undergone plenty of controversy post-release for its performance on certain platforms and its optimization issues.
With this in mind, let's go over the Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements for running the game smoothly, or reaching 1080p, 4k, RTX possibilities and more.
Cyberpunk 2077 System Requirements (PC)
CD Projekt Red has released an updated version of the PC requirements for Cyberpunk 2077.

These settings show everything from low 1080p to 4K Ultra Ray Tracing.
Overall the requirements are very reasonable and most players should be able to have a good experience while playing the game on PC.

To play on low settings it is only requiring a 3rd gen i5, or an AMD FX CPU.
Those parts are from 2012, so most players should have significantly better parts by now.
For the GPU at low settings it is requiring 3GB of VRAM, such as the GTX 780.
It would be fair to assume this is running at 30fps.

For high settings at 1080p, presumably at 60fps, it requires a 4th gen i7 or a newer Ryzen 3 3200G.
The 3200G is a £80, so very much within the price range for even a budget build.
It goes to show how far PC parts have come in a few years, with a £80 CPU today matching a flagship CPU from 6 years ago.

For the GPU on high it is requiring a GTX 1060 6GB, the most popular GPU according to Steam Stats, meaning most players will either use it or something better.
The rest of the requirements when moving into 1440p, 4K and Ray Tracing are still very reasonable, especially on the CPU end.

For 4K Ultra Ray Tracing the CPU requirements is a 6th gen i7, we're currently on 10th gen, or a mid ranged Ryzen 3600.
However, as specs increase the GPU required increases alongside it, with 4K Ultra Ray Tracing requiring the new RTX 3080, a card that is extremely difficult to get hold of right now.
But overall, most players will be able to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 when it launches on December 10th.
