After 8 years of development, Cyberpunk 2077 is just hours away.
Here is everything you need to know.

Here is when the game will unlock on each platform and region:
- PS4/Xbox One: Thursday, 10 December at 12am local time
- PC (all launchers): Wednesday, 9 December at 4pm PST / December 9 at 7 pm EST / December 10 at 12am GMT
Players can already preload the game, so if you haven't purchased yet then you've still got time to be ready for launch.
Platforms
Cyberpunk 2077 will be available at launch on:
- PC via GOG, Epic Games Store, and Steam
- PlayStation 4
- Xbox One
- Google Stadia
What About PS5 & Xbox Series X|S?
CD Projekt Red have confirmed that the game will be coming to both the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
However, this won't be at launch and will instead be released hopefully sometime in 2021.
The good news is, due to both consoles' backwards compatibility, Cyberpunk 2077 will be playable on both next gen consoles at launch.
But, players will be using the PS4/Xbox One version of the game, meaning they won't get any of the improved graphics, ray tracing etc.
Will I Need To Buy The Game Again?
It has been confirmed that owners of the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game will be able to upgrade to the next gen version for free when it is released.
CD Projekt Red confirmed on Twitter that "a later upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077, taking full advantage of the next-gen hardware, will be available for free."
PC Requirements
CD Projekt Red has released an updated version of the PC requirements for Cyberpunk 2077.
These settings show everything from low 1080p to 4K Ultra Ray Tracing.
Overall the requirements are very reasonable and most players should be able to have a good experience while playing the game on PC.
Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date
Cyberpunk 2077 is less than one week away from finally being released.
Soon fans will be able to play the latest entry from CD Projekt Red.
This will be the first game that CD Projekt Red has developed outside of The Witcher series.
Cyberpunk 2077 began development all the way back in 2012, first being shown to the public in 2013.
After numerous delays the game was scheduled to launch back on November 19th, but was pushed back 21 days to allow the developers to iron out some kinks.
It will now release on December 10th.
Day One Patch
DreamcastGuy has revealed that the game will have a 43GB patch on day one.
This is only confirmed for the Xbox One, but it is likely the size won't vary too much across all platforms.
Cyberpunk 2077 went gold shortly before its initial release date, meaning that this version will have been the one manufactured onto physical disks.
So with CD Projekt Red taking more time to work on the game, it is understandable we're seeing a large day one patch.
The update will mainly fix any issues the game might have, as well as improving textures and other graphical elements.
