Latest News - Cyberpunk 2077 at the Center of New Lawsuit
Cyberpunk 2077 has become the center of a new lawsuit from CD Projekt Red investors, taking this month from awful to rock bottom for the game and developer.

The suit claims that CD Projekt Red made misleading statements in the leadup to Cyberpunk 2077's release. Despite assurances that the game was complete in January, after delays pushed release 8 months back, its performance on current gen consoles and more have caused a massive wave of Cyberpunk 2077 refunds.

Along with the refund controversy, stock has dropped massively in response to the huge issues - and investors are seeking damages in the new class action lawsuit.
How to request a refund on Xbox
The return process is the same, no matter if you're on an Xbox One or Xbox Series X. However, this guide is specific to the digital copy of the game.
First up, follow this link, which will take you to the subscriptions & billing section of Microsoft's Xbox page. Next, you'll need to sign in to see a list of games available to you for a refund.

You'll find Cyberpunk 2077 on your list of refundable games for 14 days after you purchased the game. Next to the game listing, you'll find the button to start the return process.
If the two weeks since you purchased the game have elapsed, then don't worry, you'll just have to try another route. Start by following this link. On this page, you'll need to log in and then fill out a form to request your refund of the CD Projekt Red game.

CD Projekt Red's Bug Fix Plans
If you're unsure whether you want to refund your game or not, then it's worth reading below what the game developers are doing to fix the issues with Cyberpunk 2077.
CD Projekt Red has confirmed via an open letter posted on social media that a new update should be coming to the game soon.

Although what it will address was not detailed, it is believed that this update will resolve minor bugs, such as patch 1.04 that arrived a week ago.

However, the first significant update will arrive in January 2021, followed by a similar one in February. Both promise to troubleshoot various game issues on the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
Considering that the majority of significant criticisms have revolved around the current-gen (or last-gen) consoles, CD Projekt Red seems to be addressing the right problems.
