Fnatic didn't have the best of runs at Stockholm so how are y'all preparing for the major after that?
We had a poor result at Stockholm we got caught off guard coming off the player break. We have been focusing on our CT sides a lot for this event which we lacked in Stockholm. Also, winning those pistol rounds and anti-force buys we have been working on a lot. We are feeling better and want revenge, of course, and plan on doing our best.
Do you think the major should have been later from the player break?
I think they could have pushed the major back 1 or two weeks that would have been better but it is what it is. We are more focused for the major then we were for Stockholm. Obviously, we will prioritize the major, but hey could have pushed it back, but we are used to it and that is how it works in this scene nowadays.
NiP have gone 3-0 and will be here (in the legends stage), how do you feel about your former team doing quite well?
I am happy for the guys on NiP as I have been playing there for around five years. I was hoping to play them in the first game, but I am just happy they made it 3-0 and if we play them we will crush them.
The Fnatic team has made legends every major in CS:GO does that add pressure?
It is a big honor playing for a brand like Fnatic. I made my breakthrough under the banner six years ago. It will, of course, add some pressure but it will motivate you harder.
How confident are you that you will make it through to the playoffs and what team do you see as your biggest obstacles?
From what we have seen especially in Stockholm and in the challenger stage every team is well prepared and any team can upset you especially in best of 1s. We have to take it game by game and focus on our next opponent.
What would you like to say to the UK fans?
I haven't played much in front of UK crowds, but they are crazy and have a good atmosphere. I hope it will be great because it is the major.
