LATEST - New Trailer? New Trailer

If you were wanting a new look at all the content that's coming to COD Mobile in Season 3, we've got you covered!

You can check out the short showcase trailer below:

We're a little excited that Takeo is getting a new skin and a little disappointed we probably won't be seeing Hidora Kai as an Operator in Warzone anytime soon.

What's also interesting is that it seems like the release date has been moved forward a little bit? Either that or the original COD Mobile Season 3 Tokyo Escape announcement was wrong.

It will now be releasing on April 16th at 17:00 PST / 20:00 EST / 01:00 BST (April 17th).

COD Mobile Season 3 - Tokyo Escape

Season 3 is arriving in COD Mobile and the next chapter of the title's strange story unfolds with a whole host of new content additions and a new Battle Pass.

" Shepherd and Price were successful in their interrogation of Menendez: the crime lord has revealed Hidora Kai’s current location. Pack your bags for Japan."

As you might imagine, there is a theme there with the subtitle "Tokyo Escape". This is perhaps encapsulated the most in the Warrior's Path Event that is due to begin when Season 3 starts on April 17th.

Season 3 Battle Pass

In a similar fashion to last season, Season 3 Tokyo Escape has introduced a new Battle Pass to COD Mobile with both Free Tiers Rewards and Premium Pass Tiers.

" The Tokyo Escape Battle Pass features 50 brand-new tiers of free and Premium content including new weapons, Operators, Blueprints, Charms, Calling Cards, emotes, and CoD Points. Progress through the tiers just by playing the game."

New Maps & New Modes

It wouldn't be a new COD Mobile season without new Game Modes and Maps, right?

Oasis and Coastal are joining COD Mobile Season 3 Tokyo Escape in all the standard playlists available.

Oasis is a map you might recognise as it first-featured in Modern Warfare 3!

NEW LOCALES - It isn't Tokyo, but it's something!

On top of this, we have Swords & Stones and Night Modes being added as new playlists throughout the season.

Swords & Stones is all about melee combat, with some throwables thrown in, and Night Modes plunges you into the darkness. What makes this interesting though is the NVG you have in Night Modes are battery-charged. This means you'll have to tackle each match with a little more strategy than usual.

Seasonal Challenges & Rewards

We don't know too much about the Seasonal Challenges planned for COD Mobile Season 3 Tokyo Escape, but we do know that a new Operator Perk and a New Sidearm are on the way.

The Overclock Perk is great for those of you who favour your Operator Skills as it significantly increases their charge time.

BURST FIRE - Another familiar face (weapon) is coming to COD Mobile

In addition to this, the Renetti is due to be added to COD Mobile later in the season through its own Seasonal Challenge. This Burst-Fire Sidearm is another one Modern Warfare 2019 players will recognise!

New BR Class: Spotter

The "Quick Hands" Seasonal Challenge is introducing a new Battle Royale Class to COD Mobile in Season 3 Tokyo Escape.

This class is an anti-aircraft specialist that will undoubtedly play a vital supporting role in any BR squad.

The event itself is due to drop in "Early May" and we should learn more about this new BR Operator Class before then.

Warrior's Path Event

The Warrior's Path Event is due to kick off the Season 3 "Tokyo Escape" theme at the start of the next season in COD Mobile.

" Set your allegiance and conquer your enemies in the new Warrior’s Path themed event. Fight alongside your allies in a bid to acquire new territory and earn new rewards in the process.
Unlock an event-specific weapon set featuring a bonus modifier to boost your earned score. Earn special rewards for ending on the winning side or for being a top contributor."

The event will run for 15 days, with one territory up for grabs every 24 hours. It's a battle between factions across COD Mobile's player base as the Faction with the highest points every 24 hours will win the Territory and be one step closer to the special rewards.

There will be 8 Epic Rewards, one Legendary Calling Card, Weapon Camos, Characters, and more all themed around the UAC and Five Knights. Here's a hint of what's to come.

  • Charly - Knighted (Rare)
  • Man-O-War - Five Knights (Epic)
  • Charly - Coalition (Rare)
  • Man-O-War - UAC (Epic)
