Warzone's Season 5 Reloaded update is on the way, and we aren't far out now!

Raven Software have come through to reveal the new update's patch notes and more, so let's dive right in.

Raven Software has finally relveaed the Season 5 Reloaded Patch Notes for Warzone, and they're massive!

IRON TRIALS - Is this going to be the toughest Warzone mode yet?
  • New Warzone Game Modes
    • Clash - Launch
      • Clash is the evolution of Warzone Rumble - a 50v50 Team Deathmatch on Verdansk '84
    • Iron Trials '84 - Launch
      • This is a new game mode with the following changes to Warzone's default mechanics:
        • Health & Regeneration: Base health increased, health regeneration rate altered
        • Loadout Changes: Removed complimentary loadouts from spawning
        • Buy Station Changes: Buy Station prices will be increased throughout
        • Gulag Changes: The Gulag will have limited equipment and weapons, you will also spawn in with Gulag equipment on victory
  • New Operator
    • Hudson: NATO (In-Season)

  • Sai: Melee (BOCW)
    • During The Numbers Limited-Time Event starting Sept. 21, those who complete all nine challenges within Warzone or Black Ops Cold War will receive this new functional melee Weapon.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a visual issue causing Player models to appear to have two left hands after free falling with any akimbo Weapon equipped.
  • Fixed additional collision issues with various elements across Verdansk allowing Players to exploit/peek/shoot through them.
  • Fixed collision issues with various elements across both Verdansk and Rebirth Island that allowed Loadout Drops to fall through them.
  • Fixed an issue causing Players to not receive the squad wipe notification when finishing the last member of an enemy squad.
  • Fixed an issue causing Players to remain stuck in the blank tablet screen while using the RC-XD Killstreak.
  • Fixed an issue causing the audio for certain Finishing Moves to not play properly.
  • Fixed an issue causing Thermite damage to persist upon redeployment after exiting the Gulag.
  • Fixed an issue where a Bounty Contract would display placeholder text.
  • Fixed an issue where a Squad Wipe wouldn’t count if the last enemy was holding a Self-Revive.
  • Fixed an issue where Players could regenerate Armor Plates while using the Tempered perk.
  • Fixed an issue where Revive and Self-Revive times were incorrect in Private Matches.
  • Fixed an issue where some Calling Cards were displaying placeholder text.
  • Fixed an issue where trying to customize Reticles would send Players back to the Main Menu.
  • Fixed incorrect Blueprint labeling of various Attachments in the Gunsmith Customs.
  • Fixed the Reticle alignment for the Swiss K31 (BOCW) “Roman Standard” Blueprint.
  • Fixed the visual scaling of the Swiss K31 (BOCW) Diamond Camo.

Other new content is expected for the upcoming Numbers Event, which is due to start on September 21st.

RELEASE DATE - When does Season 5 Reloaded drop?

Warzone's Season 5 Reloaded update is on the way and it looks like there's not going to be any preloading - unlike Black Ops Cold War. Season 5 Reloaded is due to start simultaneously on both titles at the following times:

  • 21:00 September 8th - PST
  • 23:00 September 8th - EST

Looking at the Season 5 Reloaded content roadmap, Call of Duty has also stated that this is when the update will be available to download. With this being a mid-season update, this isn't the most unexpected thing. We don't have a confirmed download size just yet, but it doesn't look like it will be big enough to warrant a pre-loading period.
