The newest season of Call of Duty Warzone has arrived, and with it comes plenty of new content to explore, and even more content for Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War!

This charge is led by some important gun balance changes, a new game mode, new event, new playlists, and more.

Download Size

Now that it's here, we finally have the download size for the Season 4 update. Below is a list of the size on all platforms:

  • PS5: 11 GB
  • PS4: 11 GB
  • Xbox Series X|S: 11.2 GB
  • Xbox One: 11.2 GB
  • PC: 12.3 GB (Warzone Only) / 13.5 GB (Warzone and Modern Warfare)

Raven also released the following note for PC players "PC users need 27.1-28.3GB of space for the copying process. Space will open up again after update install."

Season 4 Content Release Time

The release time was confirmed a few days ago, and it's the same as it usually is for new seasons.

The Season 4 update went live in Warzone on June 17 at 12am ET/5am BST, allowing you to jump into the content straight away.

New Features

A lot of new features are coming to Warzone as part of the Season 4 update.

Instead of drowning you in information, we have breakout pieces on each of the new features and we'll list links to them down below if you're looking for more information.

Preload Season 4 Update

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players should now be able to preload the Warzone Season 4 update now.

We'll go over how many GBs of space it will take up below, but you'll need plenty of space on your system.

While the download won't be huge, you'll actually need upwards of 80 or even 100GB of free space to install it, even if the space isn't used afterwards.

Players on other platforms won't be able to preload the Warzone Season 4 update, and will instead have to wait until Thursday morning.
