Latest - The Destruction of Verdansk Part 2

If you jumped into the game to play the Warzone Nuke Event part 1 last night, you'll know that there's more to come.

Raven has confirmed that Live Event Part 2 will take place at 3pm ET/8pm BST on April 22.

It'll work in a similar way to the first part, with a new playlist going live in game once the clock strikes the hour.

Just wait for the playlist to refresh and you'll be able to jump into part 2. Hopefully it'll lead to the new map being released fully.

Get Ready Early

Just as you needed to for the first part, be sure to get into Warzone before the time the event is due to start.

Last night, a lot of players had issues with server queues and disconnects, so it's best to be prepared for the worst and get set up early.

Live Event Part 1 Video

If you missed the first part of the event, you can check it out in the video down below. It wasn't that extensive, withe Part 2 set to be more significant.

Following a fight to survive, Verdansk is overrun by zombies and a nuke is set off, sending everyone to a night version of Rebirth Island.

The Operation Rapid Sunder event, as it was confirmed by the Season 3 Roadmap, is only just starting.

Nuke Event Start Time

Raven and Activision have teased something for Warzone that's happening at 3pm ET/8pm BST on Wednesday, April 21.

What exactly that is, we don't know, but it'll likely be when you start of your attempts to rid Verdansk of the zombie infection.

VGC has reported that the actual nuking of the map won't be until the following day, but you'll be able to start playing the Nuke Event during the afternoon of April 21.

How to Play It

If you're looking to actually experience the Warzone Nuke Event, we'd recommend being logged into the game ahead of the 3pm ET/8pm BST time.

If the event runs in a similar way to how the Black Ops Cold War reveal did, the Nuke Event should be a new playlist option in the main Warzone menu.

You'll be able to jump in and play whatever Raven has prepared for the event.

We'll confirm what you need to do as soon as it's out. However, since it's such a big event for Warzone, it shouldn't be too tough to miss.

New Map

Following the Nuke Event, Warzone's new map, which is set to be a 1980s version of Verdansk, will be introduced.

We don't expect it to actually be part of the event, but rather something that's introduced as part of Season 3 the following day.

The new map should be similar to the current Verdansk map, with current POIs changing and new ones being introduced.

For example, leaks suggest that Dam will turn into a viaduct and Stadium will still be under construction.

Season 3

This will all lead into the start of Season 3, which will also inevitably add new weapons and Operators to the game.

Soap has been popping up in the game's code for a while, so maybe he'll be one to finally debut in Season 3.

As soon as we hear more about the Warzone Nuke Event, we'll be sure to let you know all of the updates.
