In a similar fashion to the Zombies' Exfil, this brand new Warzone mode promises to bring a different type of strategy to the Battle Royale mode.
Arriving mid-season, we have everything you need to know about this new game mode.
What Is Exfiltration?
Unlike previous Warzone modes, Exfiltration is all about grabbing and holding onto a radio. Yeah, it sounds as difficult as it almost-definitely will be.
" During an Exfiltration Battle Royale, a portable radio crackles into life, coming online somewhere in Verdansk. The Operator who secures this radio and holds onto it for a sufficient period of time automatically wins the game for them (or their squad, in non-Solo modes)."
This all sounds well and good, but to complicate matters, anyone holding the radio is marked on the Tactical Map for everyone to see.
Not only this, but everyone else in the lobby will know how long it will be until the player holding the Exfil Radio wins. So, it'll put the pressure on and invite even more pressure than a regular Most Wanted Contract.
Other than this, though, normal Battle Royale rules apply and if there's one team left at the end of the game before they can call in their Exfiltration, they'll win.
With a mid-season launch planned for this mode, we wouldn't expect it anywhen before April 2021 at the earliest. However, they might surprise us and launch it earlier.
Either way, this will give everyone plenty of time to find the best spots around Verdansk for a swift exit.
This mode will arrive alongside Rebirth Island Resurgence Extreme, a launch-week 90-player mode that promises chaotic battles on Warzone's smaller map.
