It's certainly an unusual update and it looks like Treyarch are finally pushing the boat out to adopt a Fortnite-esque approach to the future. Why wouldn't people want to play as Rambo, right?

UPDATED - Rambo Operator Bundle Details
That's right, it's an Operator Bundle! You didn't really think Treyarch wasn't going to charge you through the nose to play as Rambo, did you? Monetisation is key in this industry...
As you might have expected, Rambo is coming as his own unique Operator as a part of the Tracer Pack: Rambo Operator Bundle. It's available right now and we have everything you need to know about what's included!
" Serving time for murder, highly decorated MACV-SOG soldier John Rambo is offered one more mission – return to Vietnam and locate American POWs. If successful, he will be released, and given a full Presidential pardon…"
We don't know the exact details yet, but we know that his Operator Bundle will contain the following:
- Legendary Operator - John Rambo
- Two Finishing Moves - "Leap Shot" / "Combat Kill"
- Legendary AR Blueprint - "Bloodstained" Ak-47
- Legendary LMG Blueprint - "Rambo Classic" M60
- Legendary Knife Blueprint "Rambo's Knife" Knife
- Legendary Calling Card - "Jungle Combat"
- Legendary Emblem - "Headband Engaged"
- Epic Watch - "Rambo Special Forces"
- Epic Weapon Charm - "Amulet"
The Rambo Operator Bundle will be available from May 19th 21:00 PST / 00:00 EST / 05:00 BST (May 20th) until June 18th at 21:00 PST / 00:00 EST / 05:00 BST (June 19th). It will also cost a lot of COD Points.... 2,400 COD Points to be exact.
Season 3 Reloaded Start Date
Rambo should arrive in-game on May 20 because that's when the Season 3 Reloaded update should come to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
You might be able to download the Cold War update 24 hours earlier, but the actual content won't be live until May 20.
