Warzone 2.0 has been a huge success so far, fielding over 25 million players on the new Al Mazrah map. Assault Rifles are defining the meta right now, so make sure you're using our loadout guides to help you pick up wins.
The Battle Pass is a mainstay of Modern Call of Duty, and this year brings a fresh look, with even more content to unlock and ways to personalise your experience. Here's how to get your hands on Battle Tokens to level up through the tiers.
How to earn and get Battle Tokens in Warzone 2.0 and MW2
There are three main ways we know of getting your hands on Battle Tokens in Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2. Stay tuned, because more may be unveiled as Season 1 progresses.
- Play matches and earn XP in them
- Purchase the Battle Pass Bundle
- Purchase The Vault Edition upgrade for Modern Warfare 2
Fortunately, it seems that Battle token progress is tied to XP in some way, so you can grind for both simultaneously. You'll earn them the fastest in objective-based game modes where you can score lots of XP fast, and longer games won't hurt either.
There are 55 battle tokens up for grabs with the Vault edition of Modern Warfare 2, as well as 25 with the Battle Pass bundle. If you're looking for a headstart on some progress, these will certainly help, but you will have to fork out some extra cash.
Warzone 2.0 Battle Pass Price
The Battle Pass will retail for the usual amount, of 1000 CoD points, or around £10/$10. Bear in mind that CoD points are the only currency to transfer between games, so if you earned some on Vanguard or Warzone 1, they'll be available now.
Operators who played Warzone 1 will also receive extra rewards for playing the original, including XP tokens and cosmetics.
