Sledgehammer Games' Call of Duty Vanguard is finally here and it's one of the smoothest multiplayer launches we've seen from a Call of Duty title in some time - the only question we have is... Does Vanguard have Crossplay features?
Here's everything you need to know - if you want to squad up with PC players, this one's for you!
CROSSPLAY - Does Vanguard have it?
To put things plainly, yes. Call of Duty Vanguard does have crossplay features - just like Modern Warfare, and Warzone, and Black Ops Cold War... Basically, it's the norm in Call of Duty nowadays.
Call of Duty Vanguard has crossplay AND cross-progression features at launch - Season Six's Battle Pass is going to continue on through to December 2nd, so you can level that up while playing Vanguard (or Warzone, or Modern Warfare, or Black Ops Cold War, of course).
Similarly - when Warzone integrates with Vanguard at the start of Vanguard Season One - you will be able to earn Weapon XP, Operator XP, Battle Pass XP, and General XP in all four mainstream Call of Duty games. Everything is going to be linked by your Activision account - so you can even swap between Xbox and PlayStation, jump onto PC if you want.
It's something Call of Duty has been doing for a while now, but it's only getting bigger with the release of Vanguard. Warzone is going to have three sets of Operators, three sets of weapons, and more choice than any other battle royale game out there at the moment. Call of Duty is growing from strenght to strength and crossplay is just the start.
