Call of Duty Vanguard is enjoying a successful preseason period, with Shipment just dropping as another new map. However, Season 1 is looming and the first major content drop has everyone talking already. Here's everything we know about the leaked Mindigo Knife - another melee weapon coming to Vanguard.

LEAKS - Mindigo Knife & what we know so far

ZestyCODLeaks, a notable Call of Duty data miner and leaker, has been sharing data-mined information about new weapons and features that could appear in Vanguard soon. One of these new weapons is the Mindigo Knife.

As you can see below, the Mindigo Knife is a short-bladed knife with a curved wooden handle. Interestingly enough, though, Zesty has stated that the Knife itself was paired with the in-game model for a 1911 sidearm.

This has led to some discussions that the Tactical Knife feature could be returning to Call of Duty - as opposed to the Mindigo Knife as a new Melee Weapon. We don't know for sure, but this would certainly be interesting with the Kit and Proficiency options available that buff melee attacks with a standard firearm in hand. Who needs Commando when you can just increase your Melee Speed and Melee Reach, right?

SEASON 1 - When does it start?

Vanguard Season 1 is scheduled to start on December 2nd - so, we should find out about the new weapons and whether the Mindigo Knife is going to be included in the Season 1 line-up within the next ten days.

Season 1 isn't just about new knives though, or swords in the case of the Zweihander Melee Weapon. Season 1 is also going to start the process of Warzone integration - this means we're getting a new Warzone map and all of Vanguard's content in the popular battle royale title.

Caldera is going to replace Verdansk following Operation Flashback and there's going to be new in-game vehicles to contend with. The future of Call of Duty is bright and the Mindigo Knife coming to Vanguard is just one small piece of the puzzle.
