It's getting chilly and the Festive Fervor Event is coming to Vanguard and Warzone to stoke the fires we all need to keep us warm. There's a lot of new content coming to both games and some new Vanguard Operator Bundles being introduced alongside the 12 Festive Days of Deals store sale. If you don't want to spend your money on COD Points, then this won't interest you. One thing that might, though is the new Christmas variant of Shipment that's coming - here's what you need to know.
Christmas Shipment is coming to Vanguard soon
Shipment is the map that keeps coming back - Vanguard introduced a beachside version of the iconic Modern Warfare map almost a month ago, during pre-season, and now we're getting a festive variant for the Festive Fervor Event.
The Christmas Shipment map variant is going to be available in Vanguard from December 17th - when the Festive Fervor Event is due to start - and it should be available for the duration of the event.
There's even a chance that it might be available in the map pool after that, but we're not so sure.
A Shipment 24/7 Playlist Update is expected to arrive alongside the Festive Fervor Event, too, but this is going to be confirmed by Sledgehammer Games soon. The seasonal event is also going to introduce Armageddon Mode - a rebranding of Call of Duty's Drop Zone that throws a lot more killstreaks at players in a traditional Team Deathmatch environment.
If you're looking for more information regarding the rest of what the Festive Fervor Event has to offer both Vanguard and Warzone, you can check out the Call of Duty Blog for more information and have a look at the Content Roadmap for the event below:
There's also going to be some free Battle Pass Tiers available... Merry Christmas.
