Raven Software's new Warzone update is finally out and there's a lot of fantastic new content to look forwards to. Armored Trucks have been reworked and there's mysterious new Red Doors popping up across Verdansk '84.
When you drop into your first game, though, you might notice things feel a little off...
Another Forced Reset?!
We're not exactly sure why, or how the update works, but Warzone players on PlayStation platforms are finding themselves in familiar waters for all the wrong reasons.
Once again, Raven Software appears to have issued another forced settings reset without mentioning a fix. There are some things you can do, but it looks like it's a fairly widespread issue.
It isn't a game-breaking bug by any measure, but when you add this to the endless smaller issues players find in Warzone you have to wonder why it seems as broken as a complete package? Warzone is improving, slowly, but this feels like a needless step backwards.
How To Fix The Settings Reset
At the moment, there's really only one way you can fix the settings reset issues brought about by the Season 4 update for Warzone...
You just have to enter all your custom settings again. We know, we know... It's a massive pain in the RC-XD but annoyingly there isn't a custom setting preset save option available on the PlayStation version of Warzone at the moment.
There's no word as to whether other platforms are being affected just yet, but PlayStation players will once again have to re-enter their gameplay settings.
Alternatively, if you don't want to do this... You can always wait for Raven Software to issue a fix. We're not sure this will restore your custom settings and fix the settings reset issues, however, it's worth a shot right? There's no timeline on a fix, as you might imagine.
