When is the next Warzone event and what is it?

Looking for the latest news on the next Warzone update that's coming to Call of Duty's popular Battle Royale title? We've got everything you need to know about Easter, Season Three, and beyond.

Easter Exfiltration

According to leakers, the next Warzone event is actually going to include an Easter Egg hunt!

This will be accompanied by a series of "Holiday Contracts" which will operate in a similar fashion to standard Warzone contracts.


There will also reportedly be a few Easter-themed weapon blueprints to earn throughout the event, however, nothing official has been revealed and we're now in Easter weekend so take this with a pinch of salt.

Verdansk Nuke Event

This is the big one. It's been months in the making and it's almost here.

Warzone is going to nuke Verdansk and could introduce a new 80's themed map OR a completely new location.

Both have been leaked and Warzone players don't really know what to suspect as Activision cracks down on any leaked content with DMCA issues.

We do know that the event is going to take place in and around April 20th to April 22nd as that's when the Season 2 Battle Pass is due to expire. However, anything beyond that remains up in the air.

The Future Of Warzone

As for the future, it's anyone's guess. We could be seeing a summer-themed event in the next few months as Call of Duty titles have done this in the past, but there is no confirmation this is coming back.
