Modern Warfare 2 Third Person
Barring a glitch mode in Modern Warfare 2019, third person hasn't been seen in Call of Duty for a long time. The mode was actually a feature back in the original Modern Warfare 2 in 2019, so what better time to bring it back?
This could open up a ton of new ways to play in-game, including a peeking mechanic that PUBG players will already be familiar with.
Warzone 2.0 third-person mode
Third-person mode in Call of Duty will be available as an in-game toggle and will be a universal feature. This means that you'll be able to have an out-of-body experience in Warzone 2.0, MW2 multiplayer, and the new DMZ mode.
Other brand new mechanics include:
- Water based combat
- Ledge hanging
- More interactive ground vehicles and helicopters
- Dolphin Diving
Being developed side-by-side, if a mechanic is playable in Modern Warfare 2, it will also be in Warzone 2.0. This will make the game a much more consistent experience for fans.
Much more elevation seems to be a key feature of Warzone 2.0 in particular, so expect much more dynamic combat and a far more immersive experience, with a significant focus on aquatic combat.
