Activision has announced that 2021's new Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Vanguard, will be revealed in Warzone this week. If you want to join the hype, we've got everything you need to know about how to play the Call of Duty Vanguard Reveal event in Warzone.
Battle of Verdansk Event Start Time
It has been confirmed that the Call of Duty Vanguard Reveal event will begin in Warzone at 6:30pm BST/1:30pm ET on Thursday, August 19.
If you want to get involved, you'll want to load up Warzone slightly before that time, so that you can avoid the inevitable server issues.
How to Play CoD Vanguard Reveal in Warzone
While the exact format of the event hasn't been officially revealed, we have a good idea of what to expect thanks to the reveal of Black Ops Cold War last year.
If you logged onto Warzone at the right time last year, you'd have been thrown into a 'Know Your History' playlist on the main lobby menu, replacing all of the standard battle royale modes.
You'd then play through a brief event, looking for some items and collecting a blueprint. Then the official trailer would play to reveal the new game.
We expect the same format to be featured for the CoD Vanguard reveal this week.
The event is called Battle of Verdansk, so you should see all of the Warzone playlists be replaced by one Battle of Verdansk playlist at 6:30pm BST/1:30pm ET. You'll then play a small event and see the official trailer.
What you'll actually have to do in the playable part of the event, we're not so sure, but you'll need to work together with your squad, and probably the whole lobby, to complete some objectives.
We'll have more precise details for you as soon as the event goes live on Thursday.
Of course, you'll then be prompted to pre-order Call of Duty Vanguard, possibly so that you can get access to the beta and alpha.
