Call of Duty Zombies is a tense game mode where players fight tooth and nail to survive, accrue wealth, complete missions, and grow their arsenals.
A new bug has been discovered, however, that lets players duplicated the Call of Duty Zombies Ray Gun.
Let's dive into how to do it, and estimate just how long you have before it's hotfixed out of the game.
Call of Duty Zombies
The Call of Duty Zombies game mode has grown leaps and bounds over the years since its creation - and the modern version has a ton of more options and plays to make.
This includes variation in maps, challenges players can seek out, hidden Easter eggs, and general difficulty.
While we didn't get a new map for Call of Duty Zombies like fans had hoped in Call of Duty Season 1, which did give new maps for multiplayer and Warzone, this new bug can be a consolation prize.
Duplicating the Ray Gun in Call of Duty Zombies
If you want to spice up your next round of Call of Duty Zombies - here's how to duplicate the ray gun (until it's hotfixed out of the game).
To start, get your Ray Gun from the Mystery Box (of course easier said than done as the goal of most players paying for a spin).
From here, head to the Pack-a-Punch Machine.
As long as you have $5000 to pay the machine, and another weapon to switch to, here you can duplicate the ray gun.
You can do this by activating the machine, then switching your weapon over.
This will give you a second Ray Gun for free along with an upgrade for it.
Treyarch Ray Gun Duplication Patch
Treyarch aren't naive, and are now aware of the new duplication glitch in Call of Duty Zombies.
This means we can expect it to be next on the list for the upcoming major patch - or it could even receive its own hotfix even sooner.
Until then, though this is a great way to have fun in Call of Duty Zombies that you'll want to experience at least once before the door is closed.
