Sledgehammer Games' new Call of Duty game is almost here and we can't wait to check out Der Anfang and the new Zombies mode Treyarch has put together. There's going to be a lot of new content to look out for in Der Anfang, but what about the next Easter Egg? Is Der Anfang going to have a Main Quest?

EASTER EGG - When does Der Anfang's Main Quest drop?
Earlier this week - ahead of Vanguard's release - Treyarch revealed a lot of information about the upcoming Zombies mode and Der Anfang.
We learnt about the new Altars of the Covenants - random upgrades you can acquire in-game through Sacrificial Hearts. We also got a peek at the new Perk Upgrade system - with all Perks being free at their Base Tier. There was also confirmation that the Pack a Punch machine made the jump - albeit with some small changes.
However, one thing that wasn't mentioned a lot was the Der Anfang Main Quest - the Easter Egg for Vanguard's first map.
Why wasn't this mentioned? Well... Because it isn't getting one straight away.

It looks like the Der Anfang Main Quest isn't even going to drop until after Season One's launch in December!
" Starting on December 2nd, new Zombies content & features will begin to roll out in Vanguard, including a new Objective, additional Covenants, new weapons, Zombies Season Challenges, holiday-themed updates, and more. Players will also encounter some other surprise elements later in Season One that will set the stage for our upcoming Main Quest."
The Main Quest is going to be "tied to the arrival of an unexpected ally after Season One" - so, we could be waiting quite a while for anything interesting. The unexpected ally could be one of the original Zombies cast, though... The Forsaken Easter Egg has confirmed that the two storylines are more entwined than we thought.
