Call of Duty Vanguard: How to play Splitscreen Multiplayer

Sledgehammer Games' new Call of Duty experience is the perfect game to play on the couch with a friend - well, multiplayer can get a little intense at times but Zombies is always a safe bet. If you want to play Splitscreen Multiplayer in Call of Duty Vanguard, we have everything you need to know.

How to play Splitscreen Multiplayer in Vanguard

If you want to check out Vanguard multiplayer - and Call of Duty Zombies - in Splitscreen, you'll need to head to the lobby screen to start the process.

Then, you're going to need to turn on your second controller - whether you're on PlayStation or Xbox - and then sign in when prompted. You should be able to sign into a guest account if you don't have a second PSN or Xbox Live account knocking about.

From here, you will then need to return to the lobby screen and press X or A on the second controller to join the lobby. From here on in, you should be able to join Vanguard's multiplayer - or the new iteration of Zombies - in Splitscreen. This is going to make things a little harder - depending on the size of your display monitor - but it should be a lot of fun. You can also change your FOV in Vanguard on both Console and PC for the first time, so this should help visibility a little in Splitscreen mode.

It's important to note that you can play both Multiplayer and Zombies in Call of Duty Vanguard - however, you can't play Vanguard's campaign in Splitscreen mode. You might have to take turns for that one!

Call of Duty Vanguard is the largest multiplayer launch in series history. There are over thirty weapons to check out and twenty multiplayer maps available at launch. It's a good time to be a Call of Duty fan.
