New Modern Warfare 2019 information is becoming a daily occurrence, and this time we’re looking at the Modern Warfare 2019 Spec Ops mode that will come with the latest iteration of the popular title.
It’s confirmed that spec ops will be returning in Modern Warfare 2019, but the capacity remains unknown. There are lots of rumours floating around, many indicating it will be an open world and look like the Modern Warfare 2019 battle royale.
What We Know So Far
The only details we’ve been given in an official capacity is that it will be a spec ops experience “like you’ve never seen before”.
The biggest part is that the Spec Ops mode will tie into the campaign and multiplayer – the narrative goes across all modes for consistency and continuity in this co-op mode.
TheGamingRevolution recently released a video that detailed an open-world experience, or at least to a degree, with a very similar map to the Modern Warfare 2019 Battle Royale.
As it stands, there are 40 working missions on this map and 80 will be available at launch – there will also be post-launch missions made available. It sounds like it will operate very similar to Destiny or a much larger scaled headquarters from Call of Duty WWII.
There are different difficulty levels, that work very similar to the campaign (recruit, regular hardened, veteran). You will also have access to player vs player missions and AI based missions, including Zombies – you can find out more by watching the video.
