With tons of new content, players will also be able to enjoy a refreshed list of game modes to queue in the upcoming Playlist Update, which goes live on 7 January.
Let's dive into what we know so far about the next COD Black Ops Cold War Playlist Update, which will be the first of the new year.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Playlists
The next Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Playlist Update has been revealed by developer Treyarch on Twitter, and it features some big extensions as well as new game modes for players to hop into.
You can enjoy the following playlists on 7 January when they go live in-game:
- Nuketown 24/7
- Prop Hunt
- Face Off (3v3 respawn nodes on Gunfight maps)
- Raid 24/7

- Dirty Bomb Duos
COD Black Ops Cold War Update
Despite all of the new content that has become available in COD Black Ops Cold War, the game's last significant update was on 22 December.
That means we expect another COD Black Ops Cold War patch in January, outside of the regularly scheduled weekly Playlist Updates.
These could tackle a number of things in the game, including some balancing issues with guns, reworking of spawn points, and more.
We can only hope a patch as significant as the upcoming Call of Duty Warzone update, which balances the DMR 14, Type 63, Mac 10,, and Dual Pistols, is coming for Black Ops Cold War.
