Blueprint Blitz is being added to Warzone soon; Here's what that means

The Season 4 Reloaded update is on the way and we are a handful of days away from the next Warzone title update. One of the things detailed in the Season 4 Reloaded content roadmap has us a little confused though... What's Blueprint Blitz and what does it mean for Warzone?

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the next update.

What Is Blueprint Blitz In Warzone?

Blueprint Blitz is, essentially, a new in-game event that works the same way as a Double XP Event. Rather than offering Double XP and Double Weapon XP, though, it will instead start spawning Contraband Contracts in-game for a period of time which will allow Warzone players to unlock more exclusive Weapon Blueprints while playing.

" Similar to Double XP weekends, Raven Software is planning to activate a new special global event where Contraband Contracts automatically spawn after you complete two regular Contracts. Contraband Contracts award you with a permanent Weapon Blueprint reward if you’re able to extract it from the DZ, in addition to tons of Cash within your current match."

Weapon Bluerpints from previous seasons will be available in Blueprint Blitz, if you missed out, and they should pop up over weekends where there isn't a Double XP Event.

We don't know when the first one is, but we're expecting it to drop this coming weekend to celebrate the release of the Season 4 Reloaded update.

When Does Season 4 Reloaded Release?

The next title update for Warzone technically comes out on July 15th, but you can actually preload and preinstall the update ahead of time.

If you're looking to do this and jump into Verdansk '84 as soon as you can after the update, you should be able to start pre-downloading the Season 4 Reloaded update for Warzone from 09:00 PST / 12:00 EST / 17:00 BST on July 14th. This should give you about a day to get things sorted out.

If you're worried about storage space, here's how much you need free. It's worth noting that you may need more available to account for the unusual Update Copying Process Warzone and Black Ops Cold War utilise.
