Reports are coming in that the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War servers are down. If you're suffering from the same problems, we've got all the updates you need.
Black Ops Cold War Server Status - Down
Yes, the Black Ops Cold War servers are down for most, if not all players, at the time of writing. Players are seeing large queues as servers experience technical issues.
Treyarch is aware of the problem and are currently working to fix them. As pointed out by Charlie Intel on Twitter, the developer has noted the problems across all systems on their website.
Treyarch have not come forward on what exactly the problems are, but they'll hopefully be fixed soon.
While servers are down, players are getting massive queue times instead of outright disconnections.
These queues will even come up when attempting to play campaign mode, so it's best to wait out the new Call of Duty server issues rather than trying to play around them.
What to Do During Downtime
It seems like Warzone and other Call of Duty titles are not affected by the outage, so you might have more luck trying to play those.
For now though, the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War servers are down and you won't be able to play online. As this is a breaking story, keep checking back with us for more.
