Cold War Zombies: Are Custom Games coming to Zombies in Season 6?

Black Ops Cold War's Zombies is one of the most refined Zombies experiences yet - Treyarch have almost perfected their formula and we're looking forwards to a ground-breaking experience in Vanguard. There's one thing missing though - something that's been missing from Zombies for a long time - and that's Custom Games. Black Ops Cold War has introduced a series of new modes to Zombies and there are whisperings that Custom Games could be coming to Zombies a lot sooner than we realise. Here's the latest...

LEAK - Custom Games in Zombies is coming...

With limited-time modes like Cranked injecting some flavour into the traditional Zombies experience, it was only a matter of time until Custom Games were added - giving players the power to dictate their own rulesets in Black Ops Cold War Zombies could make for some fantastic experiences.

Popular Call of Duty leaker and community member, TheMW2Ghost, has shared the following tweet suggesting that Custom Games were coming to Zombies soon.

" For the first time ever, you have the power to create your own CUSTOM ZOMBIES GAME MODES. Whether tweaking the Classic rule set or trying something reckless and deranged, use the RULE SETTINGS to mutate your very own version of Zombies!"

As leaks go, it looks official but there's not been any mention of this yet. This could mean it's a surprise addition to Season 6 - or, it could mean that it's dropping as a mid-season update.

However, a lot of people are pointing out that imagery from Black Ops 4's Blood of the Dead is being used and this could mean that it's all just a fallacy - leftover files, or something of a similar ilk. Custom Games is something that Black Ops Cold War's Zombies would benefit from - especially the bland experience Outbreak offers - but it looks like this might just be a pipe dream. There's not a lot of time left for them to add it, anyway. You have to imagine that it would have been added a lot sooner than the final season if it was planned content.
