SCREAM DEATHMATCH - What do you need to know?

Scream Deathmatch isn't just a spooky play on words, it's also a spooky play on game modes, too.

Scream Deathmatch combines Prop Hunt with Mike Myers - the popular unofficial hide-and-seek mode you might have played back when Modern Warfare 2 was all the rage - to create an intense game of cat-and-mouse for Black Ops Cold War's multiplayer.

In Scream Deathmatch, two players will become Ghostface. It's their job to hunt down everyone else and murder them - knives only. If you're not Ghostface, you're a survivor. As a Survivor, you only have one objective: survive. You don't have any weapons and you can't deal with Ghostface, so your only chance at survival is hiding.

HIDE AND SEEK - Where will he find you?

That doesn't sound so bad, right? Well... As a survivor, you scream. Just like in Prop Hunt, every so often you'll scream and give away your position. If you're hiding well enough, you should be fine. Although, you'll probably have to change positions and this means you're probably dead. Sorry.

" In this brand-new mode, two Operators will each become Ghostface with a single mission: find and eliminate all Survivors. The Survivors will have no weapons, so it’s best to find a cozy hiding spot to try and survive the mayhem. Throughout the match, screams of the Survivors will give away their position as the killers close in on their locations. The endgame is like any good horror movie: the killers slash up every Survivor, or a final brave soul rises above to defeat the evildoers."

Scream Deathmatch is available from October 19th alongside Infected and Prop Hunt Halloween - which is exclusive to Nuketown Halloween.
