We're staring the penultimate Black Ops Cold War season in the face and Treyarch has a lot to bring to the table.
LATEST - Tier 100 Operator Skin revealed
Kitsune is already looking like one of the coolest Operators to join Black Ops Cold War's roster of characters post-launch and her Tier 100 Operator Skin proves that.
As you can see below, there are three stages of changes for this Operator Skin as it's reactive based on the number of eliminations you get in-game.
The Samurai - Ultra-Rarity - Operator Skin is available at Tier 100 of the Season 5 Battle Pass. This is going to cost you a lot of COD Points to buy your way up to, so it looks like it's time to start the grind!
UPDATED - Season 5 release date details
The Black Ops Cold War Season 5 update release was pushed back by 24 hours.
Following this, here's an updated release time for the next season of content:
- 21:00 August 12th - PST
- 00:00 August 13th - EST
- 05:00 August 13th - BST
New Multiplayer Content
There's a lot of new Multiplayer content to be excited about when you jump into Season 5 in Black Ops Cold War. The following new weapons are being added to the game:
There are also three new Operators. They are:
Furthermore, there's a new Flamethrower Scorestreak and Demolition is coming back in-season. Double Agent, a game mode all about investigation and subterfuge, is looking to shake up Black Ops Cold War's Party playlist offerings too.
To round it out, there's also a selection of new multiplayer maps coming in Black Ops Cold War's Season 5 update. They are as follows:
- Echelon - 6v6
- Slums - 6v6
- Showroom - 2v2, 3v3
- Drive-In - 6v6
- Zoo - 6v6
New Zombies Content
In addition to this multiplayer content, there's also a fantastic selection of Zombies content for both Call of Duty Zombies as a whole and Outbreak specifically.
There's a new Perk coming to the Wunderfizz machine: Death Perception. This was first featured in Black Ops IIII and allows players to see enemies through walls.
In addition to this, Tesla Storm is being added as a new Field Upgrade that stuns enemies and increases movement speed.
The Flamethrower is also making its way to Zombies as a Support Weapon alongside the Grapple Gun in Outbreak.
Black Ops Cold War's Multi-Team mode Tanks are also coming to Outbreak alongside a new Transport objective and Collateral - a new Outbreak Zone set in the Algerian Desert. As always, there's also a season's worth of intel to collect across Black Ops Cold War's Zombies modes. The Dark Aether Storyline isn't over just yet and there are more surprises to be had...
