Some Black Ops Cold War players are being given the option to preload the Season 3 Reloaded Update file ahead of time.
Below, we've got everything you need to know about how to preload the downloaded file and get ready for the update going live.
Season 3 Reloaded Update Preload
As pointed out by Charlie Intel, preload for the update is live for some players now.
As of the time of writing, however, not every PlayStation player has the ability to preload. The ability should be extended to everyone later on May 18, though.
To actually preload the Black Ops Cold War Season 3 Reloaded, you need to press Options with the game's tile selected, and then choose 'Check for Update'. Then, if it's available to you, the file will be added to your download list.
It won't actually install until 12am ET/5am BST on May 19, however. Then, the content should go live after the Warzone update is released later that day.
You should be able to check out all of the new content, hopefully including the Rambo skin, on May 20.

The preload has also revealed that the Black Ops Cold War Season 3 Reloaded's update download size comes in at 11GB.
Now, the remainder of the download sizes have been revealed. They are:
- PS5: 10.3 GB
- PS4: 7.1 GB
- Xbox Series X|S: 13.1 GB
- Xbox One: 8.3 GB
- PC: 10.3 GB

The official trailer for Black Ops Cold War and Season 3 Reloaded is set to drop on May 18, at 5pm BST/12pm ET.
