Black Ops Cold War: Error Code Zed 398 Swift Clover & Maps won't load

The new season of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has begun, but it doesn't seem to be going as you would expect!

Many PC players are reporting errors in the new update.

Season 1 Update

The first season of Black Ops Cold War begins today, and with it, came the first update of the season.

Several PC players are reporting many issues with the update and sharing their frustration.

Apparently, Black Ops Cold War's Christmas update doesn't allow players to match, doesn't load the new maps or many of the old maps, and when some players manage to enter a match, they run into the error "an error z occurred 398 swift clover".

Many players who are at home and would like to take the opportunity to take advantage of 2X XP, were even more frustrated that they could not even play on old maps, nor any game mode!

How to Solve?

Some players manage to overcome the problem by restarting the game, but it's something that doesn't work with everyone.

Treyarch is working on the issue, and in the meantime, crossplay has been temporarily disabled on PC.
