The full release of Battlefield 2042 is just hours away as it will be available from Friday, 19 November. The Gold and Ultimate editions of the game will release on Friday, 12 November, as does the Game Pass and EA Play version. You can now preload Battlefield 2042 on Xbox One or Xbox Series X / S, PS4, PS5, and PC right now.
For players on PC, preload became available on Wednesday, 10 November at 10:00 UTC. On the same day at 00:00 Local Time, pre-load will began for players on PlayStation 4 and 5.
There's no specific reason given for the differences in time and dates but what's most important is that each platform has at least 48 hours to get the game downloaded for launch.
