Assassin's Creed Valhalla lets you assassinate any opponent from the get-go


Ubisoft's recent live stream brought us a ton more information on the upcoming Assassin's Creed Valhalla, including the game's PC specs and a brand new trailer.

However, one detail that might've been overlooked is the new tweakable settings and there's one setting, in particular, that is sure to be popular amongst fans of the franchise.

More Combat, Less Stealth

It's fair to say Assassin's Creed has come a long way since the early days of Altair and Ezio.

The original games took the world by storm, but Ubisoft gave the series a much-needed update when it came to Origins and Odyssey.

There was nothing more satisfying then stealthily sneaking up behind an enemy and quietly dispatching of them before anyone realises.

However, in the more recent games, higher-ranking opponents could not be so easily disposed of, surviving your attack and alerting other guards - bye-bye stealth approach - until now...

Guaranteed Assassinations

Ubisoft recently revealed a ton of tweakable settings to personalise your Assassin's Creed Valhalla experience, but there's one in particular that stands out - 'Guaranteed Assassinate'.

Ubisoft explains that "regardless of the difficulty setting selected, this setting enables you to always assassinate higher-level enemies. When this feature is off some higher-level enemies will only be partially damaged by assassination attempts".

This setting is sure to prove popular amongst fans of the original franchise, promoting the stealth aspect of the game which we all fell in love with.

This change might just provide the perfect balance between the new Assassin's Creed combat system and the assassination mechanics of old.
